Back-to-back hurdles winner upon joining this yard last summer. Promised more than delivered off the bridle several times since but he's sure to be well prepared for this chase debut.
Added to C&D success in July 2024 when belying odds of 33/1 in a Bangor handicap (17.4f, good) with cheekpieces refitted in September. Off since a heavy fall the following month, though.
Excellent strike rate in the last year, recording win number 4 at Chepstow (2m) in April. Clearly well placed by connections but he shaped as though still in good order when third over C&D last month. Can remain competitive.
Made winning start under Rules in novice hurdle at Southwell a year ago and saw things out much better than on his chasing debut at Haydock in April (would have finished closer to the winner with a smoother run through). Third at Warwick since and drop to 2m looks in his favour with cheekpieces on.
Scored over hurdles at Southwell in November and ran right up to form when second of 6 over the larger obstacles at that venue 3 weeks ago. Doesn't always convince in the jumping department but a repeat of that will see him involved.
Veteran is not the force of old nowadays but his mark reflects that and he strung a couple of good performances together at Warwick this spring, latterly when runner-up (3m). This is a marked drop in distance.
Sprang a surprise over C&D a year ago and easily best effort since when third in repeat bid a week ago. 8 lb out of the weights here, though.

Jet Of Dreams (2/1), Neigh Botha (10/3), Catchim (4/1), Got Grey (5/1), Solid Fuel (17/2), Glajou (10/1), Grillon De Monty (12/1), Mix Of Clover (25/1)
Hard to make a compelling case for any of these but the drop to 2m could be just what CATCHIM needs so he's awarded the tentative vote. Jet of Dreams is fairly reliable at this level so he's a threat, along with Got Grey on chase debut.
