JFC Group Apprentice Claiming Race

Lightly-raced filly who ran up to her previous best when finishing fourth of 13 in maiden (50/1) at Down Royal (10.5f, good to soft) 24 days ago. Definite possibilities now down in class.

Once-raced gelding. 200/1, ninth of 10 in maiden at Killarney (8.1f, good) on debut 29 days ago, racing off the pace and never a threat. Needs to leave that well behind if he's to figure.

Modest filly. 40/1, went the wrong way from her reappearance/stable debut effort when fifteenth of 18 in handicap at Fairyhouse (10f, good) 17 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Has it to prove.

Fair filly. Thirteenth of 17 in handicap (12/1) at Cork (8f, good to soft) 10 days ago, folding tamely approaching final 1f. Cheekpieces now reached for and possibilities if bouncing back.

Thrice-raced maiden. Tenth of 14 in maiden at this course (9.6f, good, 18/1) 45 days ago. Much more needed even allowing for the drop in class.

Modest filly. Thirteenth of 15 in handicap at Limerick (7f, good, 40/1) 12 days ago. Significantly up in trip now and she's hard to warm to judged on recent exploits.

Kept busy since the turn of the year, gaining a second victory in claiming company at Gowran (1m, soft) in April. Struggled for consistency since but the return to this company will certainly aid his cause.

Fair gelding. Winner at Dundalk (7f) in December. Respectable enough return effort at that venue in March but proved disappointing in handicaps at Navan/Leopardstown more recently. Significant ease in class needs to have a positive effect but that is distinctly possible.
