Three-time hurdles winner during second part of 2024 and back on his game with a brace of placed efforts last month. Drop back to 2m wouldn't be certain to suit but he still needs considering in this.

Strong traveller who opened account over hurdles at Bangor in June 2024. Shaped better than results suggest to end the year and returns with yard among the winners. Major player.

Improved to land a second hurdles success in 2m Doncaster novice handicap in March. That form has been strongly boosted since but never really threatened both starts since. This does look easier, however.

Off the mark in a Ludlow novice last May and has finished runner-up 5 times in handicaps since, most recently at Cartmel a month ago. No reason why she won't be very competitive again.

Forecasts

Dog Fox (15/8), Bellbird (11/4), Aotano (4/1), Getalead (5/1), Diamond Dice (5/1), Six And Out (9/1)

Verdict

DOG FOX remains of serious interest from this sort of mark and returning with his yard among the winners, he's the most persuasive option. Bellbird regularly fills the runner-up spot and may well do so again, with Getalead another to consider, for all 2m may not be his ideal trip.
