Registered first victory over fences in 11-runner handicap chase at Ffos Las (23.8f, soft) in April, jumping with greater fluency than in his previous 3 starts in this sphere. Put in another largely clean round when runner-up at Bangor next time and this 8-y-o is high on the shortlist.
Notched second hurdles success at Ludlow during the autumn and good second at Doncaster next time. Form has dipped the last twice and no show 2 previous chase starts, but this former point winner appeals as the type to make his mark over fences at some point.
Justified support when taking 12-runner handicap hurdle at Stratford (2¾m, good to soft) in March, but turned over at odds in follow-up bid at Ffos Las last month, seemingly undone by 7 lb rise. The first-time cheekpiecs will probably need to help eke out more if he's to make a winning chase debut.
Point winner back in March 2022 and didn't shape badly when runner-up in a maiden hunter on Rules debut in May of that year. However, he hasn't shown much in a handful of subsequent appearances and hopes now pinned on the first-time blinkers sparking something new.
Belatedly opened his account when, equipped with a first-time tongue strap (retained), he made every post a winning one in a C&D handicap last month. He was all out to hold on that day, though, and this 4 lb higher mark could be enough to anchor him,
Winner of just one of his 18 hurdles starts and there was no promise in his chase debut last spring at Southwell where he was tailed off before the race began in earnest.
Placed several times over fences, but his efforts since the turn of the year have not been at all inspiring and his record now stands at 0-18 overall.
Hasn't set the world alight under Rules (0-17 overall), but he dotted up on his debut between the flags following a year off last month and is worth a second look back in this sphere, for all that he is 6 lb 'wrong' at the weights.

Forecasts
Another Lord (13/8), Side Stepper (3/1), Tropical Speed (5/1), Prince De Juilley (15/2), Socialiser (9/1), Williamdeconqueror (11/1), Thais Toir (25/1), Tiny Tantrum (33/1)
ANOTHER LORD has got his act together in the jumping department of late and a 2 lb rise for his latest Bangor second looks fair, given that he pulled well clear of the rest with the in-form winner. He is taken to resume winning ways, perhaps at the chief expense of Prince de Juilley, who is probably capable of a good deal over fences than he has shown in his two previous chase starts. Last month's point winner Thais Toir is third choice ahead of Side Stepper and chase debutant Tropical Speed.
