Won at Doncaster (7f) first 2 starts in 2024 and couple of good efforts in handicaps here after. Well held after 6 months off at Kempton (11f) 11 weeks ago, looking in need of the run but also too fresh. Can do better back at this venue and down in trip.
Curragh 2-y-o maiden winner on debut for Aidan O'Brien. Not beaten another rival in 2 runs 7 months apart for new connections and turned out quickly after heavy defeat at Epsom last week.
Both wins over 1m at Chelmsford but ran a blinder back on turf when going down narrowly in the Newbury Spring Cup 9 weeks ago, beaten just a neck (Classic third). Nudged up 3 lb and still lightly raced.
Course winner who has gone well on both starts at Newbury this term, poorly placed 4 weeks ago. Undoubtedly has a race in him from this sort of mark if putting it all together and has Ryan Moore up here.
Keeping busy and struck again in 4-runner Lingfield handicap last month. Weakened at Chelmsford last time and this isn't any easier, but did win on his only other start here.

Forecasts
Classic (11/8), Urban Lion (9/4), Balmacara (10/3), Theoryofeverything (5/1), Asteverdi (6/1), Tribal Chief (7/1), Urban Sprawl (15/2), Mr Professor (12/1), Lattam (12/1), Atlantic Gamble (25/1), Samuel Colt (40/1)
BALMACARA ran well in 2 handicaps here last summer and could be worth siding with back down in trip. Theoryofeverything seems sure to add to his tally this season, while Classic, Urban Lion and Asteverdi all make the shortlist too.
