Dual winner for Henry de Bromhead and better than ever when winning 19-runner handicap hurdle at Navan (2½m, soft) on debut for Gordon Elliott in January. Pulled up in the Kim Muir (26f) but this is a big drop in class and drop back in trip will help her cause, too.
Just the one success over fences so far, a Bangor handicap back in August 2023. Still, he was in good form when placed 4 times between August and November last year but last month's Uttoxeter run was a backward step.
Didn't need to improve to justify short odds in 23f novice hurdle at Market Rasen in June and made second chase start a winning one at Warwick 3 months later, just kept up to work. Beaten by more than revised mark at Chepstow soon after (struck into) and off since but he's in the right hands.
Very much on the up for his new yard, gaining fourth win at Kempton in November before another sound effort from revised mark. Point winner so hopes are high he'll take to chasing.
Low-mileage 8-y-o who got off the mark over fences in 4-runner handicap in February 2024. Very nearly added to that at Uttoxeter 3 months later and easy to excuse his comeback run at Taunton in February. Heavy defeat at Exeter later that month harder to forgive.
Thrived last summer, completing a Newton Abbot 4-timer over fences in September. Form nosedived after but firmly back on track returned to that venue, jumping superbly when a ready winner a fortnight ago. 7 lb rise very fair.
Dual Plumpton winner in 2023/24 but has failed to complete all 3 starts since.
Tricky sort who caught the eye when fourth of 9 at Ascot (24.4f, good to soft) in November, subject of a stewards' inquiry having been left with too much to do. Typically flattered to deceive when runner-up twice since and remains to be seen how he takes to fences.

Forecasts
The Bold Thady (11/4), De Tellers Fortune (7/2), Pull Again Green (5/1), Hold Your Fort (5/1), Craven Bay (11/2), G A Henty (6/1), Music Of Tara (13/2), Mole Court (8/1), Pimlico Point (10/1), Milan Bridge (33/1)
HOLD YOUR FORT has to prove he can do it away from Newton Abbot but he jumped brilliantly when successful there a fortnight ago and a 7 lb rise looks very fair for that decisive win. Music of Tara takes a marked drop in grade so she's feared with this trip also in her favour. Craven Bay is also of interest on this chase debut.
