Foaled April 2. £125,000 yearling, Blue Point colt. 14/1, green and never threatened when fourth of 6 in maiden at Hamilton (5f, good) on debut 15 days ago. This can reveal more of what he's about.

Foaled February 24. Showcasing colt who showed promise at big odds when second of 6 in novice at Bath (5f) 20 days ago, that despite meeting trouble. Entitled to progress from that and no surprise to see him in the thick of things again.

Twice-raced maiden. Eighth of 10 in maiden (18/1) at Chester (5.5f, good to soft) 35 days ago. Possible he'll be more of a nursery type further down the line.

Ardad colt who was at long odds for debut and offered little when last of 13 in maiden at Leicester (6f, good) on debut 16 days ago. Can only be watched.

Foaled January 30. Ardad colt. 16/1, held back by inexperience when sixth of 8 in maiden at Chepstow (6.1f, good) on debut 22 days ago, failing to see things out having raced freely. Represents very good yard however, and no surprise to see him do better.

Foaled January 24. £36,000 yearling, Bungle Inthejungle colt. Brother to useful winner up to 5.4f Jm Jungle. Dam, winner up to 1m (2-y-o 7.4f winner), closely related to very smart winner up to 7f James Garfield. Interesting newcomer and market confidence behind him would look significant.

Not a strong novice and it may pay to side with expensive breeze-up recruit FLYING COMET. Simon & Ed Crisford's son of Havana Grey ticks plenty of boxes on paper and confidence behind him in the betting would make his claims all the more compelling. Lil Brother was unfancied in the market but produced a promising first effort nevertheless when second at Bath 3 weeks ago and he's respected. Wonderful Friend is another interesting debutant.
