Dual bumper winner back in 2022/23. Very disappointing over hurdles but minor promise in a couple of maiden/novice contests switched to this sphere in recent months. However, staying handicaps will be more his thing on the back of this.
Orientor gelding who finished both starts on AW at up to 1m during second half of last year and he's very hard to make a case for stepping up significantly in trip/after 7 months off.
€7,000 yearling, Belardo gelding. Half-brother to winner up to 1m Rockstar Martini. Dam, French 1½m winner. Yard wouldn't be a renowned source of winning newcomers.
Lightly-raced gelding. 33/1, wasn't far off the pick of his form as a juvenile when fourth of 5 in maiden at Musselburgh (12.5f, good) 53 days ago, outpaced under 3f out. Appeals as the type who will be better suited to handicaps moving forward.
Sottsass colt who took a step forward from his debut run after 8 months off when fifth of 11 in novice (28/1) at Carlisle (9f, soft) 13 days ago. Longer trip now promises to suit and he appeals as the type who will continue to progress.
Son of Gleneagles who is bred to stay well and he didn't go with much promise in pair of starts at 1m for Iain Jardine back in the autumn. Changed hands and gelded ahead of return but likely low-grade handicaps will see him in a better light this campaign.
Cracksman gelding who showed improved form with his debut run behind him when second of 10 in novice at Haydock (11.8f, good) 12 days ago, well suited by the increase in trip. Well-bred and he looks the one to beat with further progress very much on the cards.

Valiancy (1/7), Elsass (5/1), Canavan (18/1), Dino Bellagio (25/1), Creating Mischief (33/1), Angelardo (40/1), Uncle Liam (150/1), Orient Lad (250/1)
This looks an excellent opportunity for Newmarket raider VALIANCY, who showed the benefit of his debut effort when finishing a good second in a stronger contest over this sort of trip at Haydock 12 days ago. He can progress again, with Elsass fancied to emerge as the chief danger.
