Fairly useful hurdler. Two wins from 4 runs last season. Latest win in hurdle at Cork in October. Could take some stopping if taking to fences at the first attempt.

Lightly-raced winner under NH rules. Fairly useful winner at 22f over hurdles. Career best when winning 18-runner novice hurdle at Listowel (22f, good, 7/4), pushed out. Luckinthecity is presumable the stable No 1, but he's one to note on this chase debut all the same.

Forecasts

Brave Fortune (6/5), Uncle Pat (2/1), Luckinthecity (3/1), Heroes Rise (5/1), Harsh (13/2), Mister Beeton (12/1), Kingston Coole (100/1), Amyr (100/1)

Verdict

The Willie Mullins-trained pair LUCKINTHECITY and Uncle Pat are both lightly-raced and make plenty of appeal now switched to fences. The former ran no sort of a race last time, but that was in a Grade 1 novice hurdle at the Punchestown Festival and he doesn't have anywhere near as much on his plate now tackling the larger obstacles. Uncle Pat landed a decent maiden hurdle when last seen at Listowel in September and is feared most ahead of Brave Fortune, who shaped well on his chase debut.
