9/4

Course winner ran well up in grade prior to finishing respectable fourth of 9 in handicap at Windsor (5.1f, good to firm) 14 days ago when ridden by a claimer. Very interesting dropping back into Class 6 company (won last twice in this grade) with Pat Cosgrave taking over in the saddle.

11/4

3-time C&D winner. 6/5, won 7-runner handicap at this C&D (soft) 13 days ago by 2 lengths from Rebel Star, doing so in straightforward fashion. In good heart and should remain competitive from 5 lb higher mark.

4/1

Winner at Yarmouth in April and fairly consistent since, respectable 2 lengths second of 7 to Pop Dancer in handicap (5/1) at this C&D (soft) 13 days ago. May be able to reverse the form now in receipt of weight from that rival.

5/2

Course winner over 6f (wore first time blinkers) in April. Has continue to give a good account over 6f in headgear, creditable fifth of 9 in handicap at Chepstow 19 days ago having been slowly away. Definite claims back at 5f but will need to be sharper from the stalls.

Forecasts

Merrimack (9/4), Silky Robin (5/2), Pop Dancer (11/4), Rebel Star (4/1), Gogo Yubari (12/1), Big Time Rascal (22/1)

A winner of his last two starts in Class 6 company, MERRIMACK may be able to capitalise on a drop in class to record another course success. Silky Robin ran well at Chepstow having forfeited ground at the start and should go well back at 5f if breaking on terms, while Rebel Star may be capable of reversing the form with old rival Pop Dancer.
