Fairly useful hurdler has had multiple breathing operations. Ran close to best recent hurdles form when third on chase debut in November and shaped better than the beaten distance at Huntingdon later that month. Has won off a break and is worthy of consideration in this grade back over hurdles.

Three-time winner for Olly Murphy in 2023 and has proved every bit as good for current connections, underling his consistency when fourth in a 14-runner handicap at Worcester (20f) last month. Respected back in a less competitive affair.
Much improved from hurdling debut when landing a 19f Warwick maiden in April 2024 and would have defied a penalty at Uttoxeter the following month but for final flight fall. Two tame efforts following that mishap and needs to bounce back on handicap debut following a 10-month break.
Landed a hat-trick across both codes last year and has resumed progress this season, built on reappearance when landing a 21.6f Newton Abbot handicap prior to following up over the same C&D in the first time cheekpieces 9 days ago, winning easily. Progressive and should run well under a penalty.
Dual course winner over fences and produced best effort to date over hurdles when runner-up in a 6-runner handicap (16.6f) here 20 days ago, unable to get to grips with an all the way leader who'd set a steady pace. Makes appeal stepping back up in trip.
Landed maiden hurdle at Musselburgh in April 2024 and just about his best effort over hurdles when runner-up at this venue the following month. Finished last on handicap debut prior to checking out tamely in first-time blinkers at Musselburgh in February. Questions to answer with headgear removed.

Forecasts
Lipa K (15/8), Al Sayah (11/4), Liverpool Knight (10/3), Whizz Kid (7/1), Speed Davis (9/1), Gwash (40/1)
It could pay to take a chance on the reappearing WHIZZ KID who typically races in better company than this over hurdles and can go well fresh. Al Sayah, still 3 lb well-in under a penalty, has to be respected in her bid for the hat-trick, while the consistent Liverpool Knight should give another good account. If taking up this engagement, Lipa K could prove a danger to all stepping back up in trip following his best hurdles run to date.
