Maiden winner on the Flat in Ireland, but overall record in that sphere is hardly compelling (1-18) and yet to fire over hurdles.

Scored a couple of times in plating company during 2023/24 campaign, latterly taking a Catterick claimer last spring (final run for Olly Murphy). However, subsequently pulled up both starts for Christian Williams and has undergone a wind op ahead of this return/yard debut.
Maiden pointer (failed to complete all 4 starts between the flags) who has displayed a reasonable level of ability in a 3 runs in this sphere. No match for the odds-on winner in a 3-runner Newton Abbot novice (16.8f, good to firm) last time, but faces nothing of that calibre now handicapping.
Winner of sole point start and runner-up both runs in this sphere for Billy Aprahamian in April. However, she failed to perform to a similar level with the hood refitted (now discarded) on debut for new yard at Hereford.
Snapped a losing run in good style when notching third C&D success from the front last month. Perhaps the race came too soon at Sedgefield a week later and, having had 23 days to recover this time, he could easily bounce back with a bold show.
Scored at Fontwell during the autumn and runner-up on 2 of his next 4 starts, including at Musselburgh (2½m, good to soft) in December. Proved a major let-down upped to 21.6f at Exeter later that month, but given a break since and could have a part to play back down in trip here.
Bumper winner in October 2023 and stepped up on previous hurdles exploits when fourth in 8-runner Lingfield handicap (2m, heavy) in February. Excuses next 2 starts and he remains of interest in view of that Lingfield promise.

Forecasts
Gavin (5/4), Bobby's Fortune (9/2), Linden Lane (5/1), Queenie St Clair (11/2), Catboy (15/2), Believe Jack (28/1), Jokers 'N' Clowns (40/1)
It's probably best to overlook GAVIN's latest run and he looks the way to go returned to this venue, the scene of each of his last three wins, including an easy all-the-way success on his penultimate start. Catboy will be a threat if able to get back on track returned to this trip, while Bobby's Fortune and Linden Lane can do battle for minor honours.
