Dual winner at up to this trip last season. Returned in good heart, twice a runner-up (including over C&D) prior to a lesser effort when fourth of 8 in handicap at Yarmouth (10.1f, good to firm) 21 days ago. Headgear worn then discarded and he's a likely candidate to bounce back.

Has started out for Harriet Bethell with good placed efforts, keeping on when third of 8 in handicap at Southwell (1m) 5 weeks ago. Step back up in trip looks worth exploring on that evidence and he's respected.

Had usual headgear discarded when ending losing run stretching back just over 3 years in 5-runner handicap at Beverley (10f) 11 days ago. Promising apprentice takes off 3 lb of his 4 lb rise in weights but he doesn't appeal as an obvious follow-up candidate.

Went close on a couple of occasions for Karl Burke with blinkers fitted last summer but well beaten all 3 starts upon joining present connections and he needs to bounce back in a major way back from 174 days off/with headgear discarded.

It's now eighteen runs since last win in 2023 but he showed the benefit of a recent run when third of 9 in handicap (10/3) at Ripon (9.8f, good to firm) 26 days ago. Not one to write off at this level for all his losing run tempers enthusiasm.

Went closer with each start in novice/maidens, third of 8 on qualifying run at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in January. 11/2, sixth of 8 in handicap at Yarmouth (10.1f) 60 days ago, outpaced 2f out before appearing to finish with running left. Return to even longer trips may suit on that evidence.

Sprung a surprise when making second start a winning one in a C&D novice last summer. Matched as opposed to build on that in 2 of her 3 starts in handicaps at around 12f thereafter and the market can point the way on this return from 6 months off. Down in trip.

Looked better than ever when making a winning stable debut at Thirsk (7.9f) this time last year. Below that level next 2 starts but did shape as if he'd come on for the run after 9 months off when seventh of 8 in handicap at Beverley (8.4f) 30 days ago. Better showing expected.

8.6f winner on all-weather as a 2-y-o who ran well when runner-up at Redcar (10f) in October. Not seen to best effect when down the field at Wolverhampton (8.6f) on final outing of last year and she's not discounted on return for new stable.
