Iron Heart^v²⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: S Bowen| T: M Bowen| OR: 100| CD

1/1

Confirmed the promise of his previous run when forging clear to win at Market Rasen last month. Only 1 lb higher back over fences here and just as good in this sphere. Obvious claims.

Form: 56453-1

Swapped²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: Philip Armson⁽³⁾| T: M C Chapman| OR: 100

25/1

Fairly useful handicap chaser at best but largely out of sorts last season for Nick Kent and not much encouragement on first start for this yard at Southwell on return 3 weeks ago.

Form: P4P40-4

Cloudy Wednesday^p¹³

Age: 9| Weight: 11-2| J: Lewis Stones⁽³⁾| T: C Fryer| OR: 88| D

4/1

Won a 3m Fakenham handicap for the second season in a row in April, making all. Shaped as though still in good form next 2 starts so not taken lightly.

Form: 2351-24

Zmiinyi^p1,t³⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-7| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 79

9/2

Remains winless and let down by jumping last 2 starts. Headgear on. Others make more appeal.

Form: 23P4UF-

Watchoutitscookie¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: Lorcan Murtagh| T: N J Hawke| OR: 74

13/2

Landed a gamble when making all at Newcastle in December. Followed that with a string of below-par efforts but was a back-to-form second at Perth 3 weeks ago. Claims with a repeat.

Form: 165F0-2

Higgs^b¹⁶

Age: 12| Weight: 10-2| J: James Best| T: S-J Davies| OR: 72

12/1

Veteran who was a dual winner of low-grade 3m handicap chases around this time last year. However, just the one decent effort this calendar year and 2 lb out of the weights here.

Form: 4423-33

Not What It Seems³¹⁶

Forecasts

Iron Heart (1/1), Cloudy Wednesday (4/1), Zmiinyi (9/2), Watchoutitscookie (13/2), Higgs (12/1), Not What It Seems (14/1), Tiny Tantrum (20/1), Swapped (25/1)

IRON HEART is potentially well handicapped back over fences after his clear-cut win over hurdles here last month off 1 lb lower. Watchoutitscookie was back to form at Perth last time so is feared most ahead of Cloudy Wednesday.
