Kayf Tara mare. Dam 11f/1½m winner. Fitted with headgear and made a promising start when second of 10 in a Plumpton bumper in December. This slight step up in trip sure to suit now hurdling

Found Grade 2 bumper at Aintree too much in the spring but managed to win a pair of bumpers either side of that. That's a good platform to build on now hurdling.

Poor form at best on the Flat and likely outsider on hurdle debut after 9 months off.

Well held in bumpers in February/March but combination of a breathing op and a tongue clearly aided her cause when third at Plumpton 3 weeks ago. Hurdles debut.

Half-sister to useful bumper winner/fairly useful 19f hurdle winner Queensbury Boy. Runner-up sole start in Irish points (Nov 2024) and overcame greenness to make a winning bumper debut at Southwell 3 weeks ago. Form is fairly ordinary but she's sure to progress over hurdles.

Won a Flat maiden on heavy ground for Peter Chapple-Hyam in 2023 but missed 2024 and sold for only 2,000 gns ahead of hurdles debut. Modest form both starts in this sphere and she looks vulnerable. Has had a breathing operation and fitted with a tongue tie for the first time.

Forecasts

Queensworthy (5/6), Celestron Star (9/4), Appleshaw (6/1), Saratoga Lass (12/1), Kill The Groove (18/1), Sharona (50/1), Coeur De Coeurs (200/1)

Verdict

The form of QUEENSWORTHY's recent bumper win isn't anything to get excited about but she's a well-bred mare representing a superb stable, so she may well improve for the switch to hurdling and follow up. Celestron Star and Appleshaw also jump an obstacle for the first time and are feared most.
