Competitive stuff and the vote goes to FORTUNA VERA, who improved for the step up to this trip when readily accounting for Pepper Noir and nine others recently at Leopardstown and a 6 lb rise looks manageable. Pepper Noir may again emerge as the main danger to the Joseph O'Brien-trained filly, but the progressive, hat-trick seeking Pink Oxalis and Gotomylovely both have solid claims, too, and the lightly-raced Kalixa is also of interest now pitched into a handicap.
