Lyness Dancer²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-11| J: Jack Andrews⁽³⁾| T: T Ellis| OR: 89

2/1

Lightly-raced mare who looked an improved performer when making a winning start for new trainer Tom Ellis in 25f Huntingdon handicap last month. Raised 10 lb but it may not stop her with further progress likely.

Form: 4853P-1

Dartmouth Rose¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: J M Quinlan| T: M Crawley| OR: 82

11/4

Placed in both handicaps around 2½m, including here, and this step up in trip promises to suit. Should go well.

Form: 0674-23

4/1

Poor maiden on balance but he was better than the result when keeping on from too far back for fourth in a chase at Fontwell last month.

Forecasts

Lyness Dancer (2/1), Dartmouth Rose (11/4), Varinia (4/1), One Man Party (4/1), Junior Des Mottes (6/1), Kankin (8/1)

The style of LYNESS DANCER's Huntingdon success suggests she might be able to cope with a 10 lb rise. Dartmouth Rose should be suited by the step up in trip and is second choice ahead of Kankin.
