Cracksman colt got off the mark in 1m maiden at Newcastle before advancing his form when second of 13 in novice at Chelmsford City (8f) 93 days ago. Goes up in trip for his handicap debut and needs considering.
Promising Sea The Stars colt made it 2-2 in 5-runner novice (1/12) at Pontefract (10f, good) 31 days ago. Has more to offer now going into handicaps. A likely player.
Fairly useful form for Joseph O'Brien before making a winning start for current yard in Kempton nursery (1m) in November. Suffered a poor run when a good sixth of 10 in handicap at Newbury (8f, firm) 14 days ago so considered now stepping up in trip.
Progressive son of Cityscape shaped very well on his handicap debut when second of 12 at Sandown (10f, good to soft) 36 days ago. Up 2 lb but still weighted to go close. Big shout.
Gelded/off 9 months before taking a step forward to land 10-runner novice at Catterick (7f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Scored cosily there so can't be discounted on his first go in handicaps.
Promising Frankel colt bagged 1m novice at Lingfield in November before returning with a very good second of 6 in handicap at Ascot (10f, firm) 21 days ago. Capable of better still. A likely player.
Yet to score but progressive sort who came in a good fifth of 9 in handicap at Newbury (10f, firm) 14 days ago. Not taken lightly off an unchanged mark with more to come.
A three-time 7f winner at 2yrs but he came in only eighth of 9 in handicap at Newmarket (10f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Needs to get back on track.
Son of Kameko seemed unsuited by the drop in trip when fourth of 7 in maiden at Leicester (7f, firm) 21 days ago. Capable of better now back up in distance for his handicap debut. Considered.

Forecasts
Munsif (5/4), Asmen Warrior (16/5), Urban Glimpse (9/2), Cape Breton (7/1), Looks Fantastic (14/1), Crack On Boys (16/1), Dante's Lad (18/1), Far Ahead (50/1), Chesneys Charm (66/1)
Lots of these bring potential but it's still hard to side against Andrew Balding's URBAN GLIMPSE who made a very promising start to life in handicaps when runner-up at Sandown and can capitalise on a lenient mark here. Both Cape Breton and Munsif are in excellent hands and look open to a fair bit of progress so rate big threats. Asmen Warrior, Crack On Boys and Looks Fantastic also need factoring in.
- Cape Breton7/1
- Munsif5/4
