Grace & Dotty Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Flat winner for Thomas Faulkner and has taken well to hurdling for his current yard, off the mark in a Hereford novices' handicap (16.2f, good) in March. Similar form when fourth at Worcester and he should be a factor back in a novice.

Placed both completed starts in points and shaped with promise in a couple of bumpers this spring. Didn't show a great deal on hurdles debut but this trip is more suitable.

A useful winner on Flat (stays 2m) for William Haggas. Changed hands for 45,000 gns but little promise completed starts over hurdles.

Stuck to his task when fourth in an Irish bumper for Darren Bunyan in 2022 but was too free on hurdling/yard debut after 29 months off (had breathing operation during absence) at Catterick in February. Showed more for new yard when third at Worcester a week ago.

Smart Flat pedigree and was placed on the level in France prior to an encouraging hurdles debut for this yard at Taunton in February. Didn't need to improve on that when dominant winner of 5-runner novice at Plumpton. Needs to cast aside a heavy defeat on handicap debut.

Reliable and fairly useful sort on the Flat for K. R. Burke. However, she jumped none too fluently starting out over hurdles for new yard at Sedgefield in February 2024 and didn't fare that much better on last month's return to action.

Limited impact in bumpers 6 months apart.

Showed steady improvement for Gordon Elliott, placing on both hurdles starts and he stuck to his task when runner-up for new connections at Bangor a fortnight ago. Step up in trip will aid his cause and he looks the one beat.
