Preference is for POLE STAR, who has run to a fairly useful level on both outings this month and with further progress on the cards, Charlie Johnston's colt could well prove a tough nut to crack with Buick taking over in the plate. His main threat may emerge from Valiancy, who looked badly in need of the experience but showed clear signs of ability on debut at Newbury a fortnight ago. Earnest Belief and Simply Ruby can fight out third.
