Space Blues gelding has some scope physically and shaped with potential on debut when 80/1, tenth of 18 in maiden at Newbury (6f, firm) 14 days ago, ran green and kept on. Entitled to improve for that experience and merits consideration.

Sergei Prokofiev colt cost €47,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to 2-y-o 7f winner Miami Heat (by Havana Grey). Dam, maiden (stayed 1m), half-sister to useful winner up to 9.4f Duchess of Foxland. Makes appeal on paper for yard capable of readying one first time up.

Ardad colt. Dam, unraced, closely related to smart 5f/6f winner Priceless, won Temple Stakes). Too free on debut when fourth of 5 in novice at Kempton (5f, 8/1) on debut 25 days ago. Could improve for that experience.

Green on debut and shaped much better when third of 11 in novice at Kempton (6f) 9 days ago. No surprise to see her step forward again with cheekpieces on first time.

Form of debut fifth has some substance and stepped forward from that run when third of 13 in maiden (15/2) at Doncaster (5f, firm) 13 days ago, travelled fluently and not knocked about. Makes plenty of appeal up in trip.

Forecasts

Bourbon Blues (6/4), Corniche Girl (3/1), Mare Of London (13/2), Must Be Ten (10/1), Eduardo Calderon (10/1), Campenaerts (12/1), Mwaki (14/1), Dandy Orton (22/1), Red Snapper (66/1)

Verdict

CORNICHE GIRL stepped forward from a solid-looking debut run when third at Doncaster earlier this month, going through the race in the style of a horse who should be getting her head in front sooner rather than later. She can get the better of Bourbon Blues who offered plenty to work with on debut at Newbury 2 weeks ago, with Campenaerts much respected on debut for the Archie Watson team.
