Raced on the AW so far, winning a novice on second start (6f) in December. Unable to repeat that form in 3 starts since but it's still early days ahead of switch to turf.
Debut winner at Newbury in September. Disappointed at Salisbury a month attitude but firmly back on the up when landing 10-runner handicap at Kempton on reappearance 19 days ago. 2 lb rise shouldn't prevent bold follow-up bid.
Left 2-y-o form trailing in his wake when a 4-length winner at Yarmouth on reappearance and he landed the odds over C&D a month ago. Further 6 lb rise looks to underestimate him, still.
Placed twice on the AW this spring and fitted with cheekpieces on for first time, his effort at Chester can be excused from a poor track position. Should run closer to form this time.
Put experience to good use when landing cramped odds at Ayr 3 weeks ago. Much more on his plate back in a handicap.
Confirmed debut promise when landing 6-runner maiden at Catterick and improved again when second of 6 in nursery at Ripon (6f, good to firm). Off 9 months but she's in the right hands.
Runner-up first 3 starts at up to 6f last year but low-key reappearance when ninth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 27 days ago.
Cheekpieces on for first time when just respectable seventh of 12 in handicap at Windsor (6f) 19 days ago, nearest finish. First run for yard after leaving Joseph Parr. and more needed from this mark kept to 6f.
Signed off 2-y-o campaign in the perfect fashion when landing 10-runner nursery at Chester (7f). May have needed the run on last month's return and a hood is now on, but drop to 6f is far from certain to suit.
Confirmed debut promise when landing 9-runner maiden at Newcastle in October. Found it harder going under a penalty a month later and off since (also gelded).
Looked limited as a 2-y-o but totally different proposition when successful on return at Newcastle in April. Respectable fifth of 12 in handicap back at that venue over 13 days ago and return to this trip in his favour.

Maelstrom (2/1), Persian Spirit (10/3), Dan Tucker (5/1), Station X (15/2), The Flying Seagull (8/1), Don Pacifico (9/1), Easy Peeler (12/1), Bonnie's Boy (12/1), Andalprofit (14/1), Blue Lakota (16/1), Mu Mu Land (25/1), Line Of Force (28/1), Stapleford Park (40/1)
Having got in lightly ahead of his 3-y-o campaign, MAELSTORM has justified short odds both starts and his latest 6 lb rise may not be enough to prevent the hat-trick. Persian Spirit has also been in winning form recently and she's a threat, with Andalprofit one to consider at longer odds back over 6f.
