Showed promise when third both starts in bumpers but has struggled since switching to hurdles, failing to see things out in first-time cheekpieces at Wetherby on most recent outing. Stamina concerns over this longer trip.
Has shown little in a pair of maiden hurdles 22 months apart.
Produced best effort to date when going down only to one progressing in leaps and bounds in a Perth handicap (3m) in April. Again ran creditably when third in small-field event there 10 days ago and shouldn't be long in gaining a first win.
Showed promise in handicap hurdles, finishing a close second and a staying-on fourth at Catterick last winter. Sixth of 9 in a handicap hurdle at Hexham (12/1) 21 days ago, running without headgear and possibly needing the run after 11 weeks off. Cheekpieces reapplied today and better expected.

€36,000 3-y-o, Court Cave gelding. Half-brother to modest hurdler Tommies Call. Dam (c128/h151) 19f-3m hurdle/chase winner, also 1¾m-2½m winner on Flat. Made frame completed start in Irish points (Feb 22) and warrants a market check, especially with Sean Bowen booked.
Dual point winner who shaped like a stayer when sixth in a Carlisle bumper (17.2f) on Rules debut in November. Pulled up on Sedgefield hurdling debut 12 weeks later but is best not judged on that run having lost her place when making a bad mistake at the fifth. Longer trip could suit.
Made the frame on first of 2 starts in bumpers and ran to similar level sent hurdling when sixth of 12 in mares' maiden at Newcastle (20.3f, good to soft) in November 2023. However, went with no encouragement tried tongue tied on first start since for a new yard at Perth.
Winning Irish pointer at the ninth attempt who showed modest form when placed on her first 2 starts at this venue but has been pulled up both outings since. Needs to recapture earlier Cartmel form to have any chance returning from 7 months off.

Getaway Vic (6/4), Maggies Boy (11/4), Caughtinyourtrance (11/4), My Friend Yeats (10/3), Turndlightsdownlow (5/1), Sky Luna (15/2), Kalo Athena (18/1), Perfect Poli (50/1), Lantic Bay (100/1)
GETAWAY VIC has impressed in bumpers, winning 2 of his three starts, and can make a successful hurdle debut with his pedigree suggesting the step up in trip will suit. Maggies Boy has been knocking on the door in handicaps recently and looks ready for a breakthrough win, so warrants plenty of respect, with My Friend Yeats another potential threat if returning to the sort of form he showed at Catterick in the winter.
