Confirmed Newbury debut promise when landing the odds with minimum fuss at Thirsk (7f, good) recently. Appeals as the type to go on improving and she's the one to beat, despite carrying a penalty.

Possibly needed the run on first outing since leaving Joseph Patrick O'Brien when fourth of 9 in maiden at Southwell (7f) last month. Cheekpieces refitted and should pick up a race at some point but she's up against some promising fillies here.

Out with the washing on debut at Wolverhampton (7.2f) and will need to leave that well behind if she's to make an impact here.

Failed to beat a rival home on her introduction at Newmarket (1m, good to soft) but better was clearly expected (sent off 3/1) from this €1,650,000 purchase. No surprise at all if she leaves that form well behind here.

Signs of encouragement in 7f maiden at Newbury on debut (finished a couple of places behind Woroodd) and again in a 6f Windsor novice 10 days ago. Should have a race in her but it's likely that she'll come into her own in handicaps later on.

Shaped well when a close third on debut at Kempton (1m) in November. Shade disappointing over 7f at the same track the following month but she failed to settle on that occasion and this Invincible Spirit filly is well worth another chance.

Forecasts

Woroodd (4/6), Goldie Trickett (4/1), Cradle Of Love (11/2), Thaisa (9/1), Havana Halo (16/1), Dream Angel (125/1)

Verdict

WOROODD built on the promise she showed first time out when seeing off nine rivals in good style at Thirsk and it's unlikely that the penalty will stop her from following up here. There are good reasons to believe that Goldie Trickett will prove her debut display to be all wrong and she is feared most ahead of Thaisa, who shaped well on the first of her two starts on the all-weather during the winter.
