Golf And Gallop Handicap Hurdle

Offered encouragement on first hurdling outing but not been in same form since and is now tried over a longer trip on handicap debut. Hooded for first time.

Won 21f chase at Sedgefield this time last year. Not been in same form more recently but has plummeted down the weights and is now in the care of James Owen. Must be taken seriously.

Won Fakenham chase in November and ran to similar level when second of 4 in handicap at Exeter (24.2f, good to firm) 58 days ago, albeit no match for winner. Switches to hurdles now and must enter calculations. Had wind operation.

Made the frame for first time when creditable fourth of 16 in handicap hurdle (14/1) at Cork (24.4f, good) 10 days ago. Others look better treated, though.

Posted best effort for some time when fifth of 8 in handicap hurdle (9/1) at Huntingdon (25f, good) 12 days ago. Claims if able to build on that.

Much improved for the addition of cheekpieces when springing a 33/1 surprise in C&D handicap in March. Wasn't in same form at Warwick 10 days later but can't be ruled out here.

Offered little on chase debut here in April and is still looking for first success over hurdles. Makes limited appeal.

Back from 9 months off when creditable second of 8 in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (25f, good) 12 days ago. Just 1 lb higher now and ought to go well again.

Mostly disappointing in half a dozen starts in 2024 and is likely best watched back from 7-month absence. 1 lb out of the handicap.
