12/1

Career best when winning 5-runner handicap (3/1) at Salisbury (14.2f, good to firm) on Thursday, well positioned. Carries penalty and dominating this lot a harder assignment but he's clearly in good heart.

(5)

Crystal Mariner^t²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 9-8| J: Saffie Osborne| T: J A Osborne| OR: 77

14/1

Eleven runs since last win in 2023. Tongue strap on for first time, creditable 1¼ lengths second of 8 to Cavalry Call in handicap (7/1) at Chelmsford City (10f) 25 days ago. Not taken lightly.

Form: 362-862

(7)

Odin Legacy^b¹⁵

15/2

Career best when winning 5-runner handicap (5/2) at Salisbury (9.9f, firm) 15 days ago, holding on gamely. 3 lb rise won't prevent bold follow-up bid.

Form: 350-461

(3)

Age: 4| Weight: 9-7| J: P Cosgrave| T: J R Boyle| OR: 76

9/2

(12)

Dayzee²³

Age: 5| Weight: 9-4| J: David Probert| T: P Attwater| OR: 73

33/1

Unreliable type (has refused to race) and didn't do enough when fifth of 7 in handicap at Haydock (10.2f, good to firm) 23 days ago to seriously consider her.

Form: R94-975

(8)

Kingkeer¹⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 9-4| J: Tom Marquand| T: H Morrison| OR: 73| CD

2/1

Gelded and strong in the betting, he improved a chunk when winning 7-runner handicap at this C&D (good) 14 days ago. Should improve again and one to keep on the right side of.

Form: 49444-1

(11)

Ice Opera^h¹⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 8-7| J: Ray Dawson| T: G Harris| OR: 62

125/1

9¼ lengths fifth of 7 to Kingkeer in handicap (66/1) at this C&D (good) 14 days ago. Others more persuasive.

Form: 329875

Forecasts

Kingkeer (2/1), Carnival Day (9/2), Fast Steps (7/1), Odin Legacy (15/2), First Officer (17/2), Educator (9/1), Cavalry Call (9/1), Macari (12/1), Crystal Mariner (14/1), Xiomara (20/1), Dayzee (33/1), Ice Opera (125/1)

KINGKEER showed significant improvement when getting off the mark over C&D 2 weeks ago and this lightly-raced 4-y-o looks capable of making further progress this summer. He's taken to follow up at the chief expense of Educator, who took advantage of a much-reduced mark when scoring at Lingfield following a breathing operation. Odin Legacy made all when winning at Salisbury recently and is also of interest.
