3/1

Thrived last summer, completing a Newton Abbot 4-timer over fences in September. Form has nosedived since but probably needed his comeback run last week and return to this venue is a positive.

18/1

Useful chaser at his best for Noel Meade/Gordon Elliott in Ireland but has struggled for current yard this season, again failing to see things out at Ffos Las last time. Others preferred.

Age: 7| Weight: 11-7| J: Freddie Gingell| T: J Tizzard| OR: 103

4/1

Did well last summer, notching up a third success with a wide-margin victory at Plumpton in September. Lost his way a bit after but made a promising comeback when fourth at Plumpton last month. Stamina is the concern.

Form: 11P544-

Dancingontheedge^t¹⁹

11/4

Smooth-travelling type who matched the pick of her hurdles form when a promising third on chase debut here (21f) in September. Decent second back over hurdles at Chepstow on comeback last month and remains of interest back chasing.

Forecasts

Unspeakable (2/1), Dancingontheedge (11/4), Hold Your Fort (3/1), Belgarum (4/1), Morfee (9/2), Inspiratrice (10/1), Diol Ker (18/1)

MORFEE was only just denied by a subsequent winner after travelling better from some way out at Market Rasen last month so has obvious claims off the same mark. Dancingontheedge shaped well on her comeback run at Chepstow and has potential back in this sphere after a promising debut here in September, so rates the main threat.
