PJ Nicholls KGM Korea Genuinely Made Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Bumper winner for Anthony Charlton in January 2024 but has seemingly been hard to keep right since. Landed a Wincanton maiden (15.2f) on reappearance/stable debut in January but ran poorly twice since and has something to prove on chasing bow.

Resumed winning ways at Chepstow (16.1f) last month and improved on that when close second of 3 in handicap chase over same C&D (good to firm) 18 days ago. Likely contender.

Completed a hat-trick in the autumn and even better form when second of 6 at Kempton (16f) last month. Below par at Hereford since but warrants respect on switch to chasing.

Notched third success over fences when decisively taking Ludlow handicap (20.1f) in December. Below form (said to have irregular heartbeat) at Hereford last time but can't be ruled out.

Off the mark over fences for Lucinda Russell at Ayr 15 months ago and posted best effort since when 4 lengths third of 5 to Jet of Dreams in handicap chase at Chepstow (16f, good) 38 days ago. Respected.

Excellent strike rate in the last year, recording win number 4 at Chepstow (16f) last month. Clearly well placed by connections but he idled a touch that day, confirming 4 lb rise still leaves him very competitive.

Run creditably in defeat the last twice, latest when second of 7 in handicap chase at Plumpton (17f, good) 23 days ago. Ought to go well again.
