The two with the strongest credentials are VESPERTILIO and Fiery Lucy, both of whom have previously held their own in Group 1 company. The latter signed off her solid 2-y-o campaign by finishing a fine fourth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf and she is greatly respected, but Vespertilio gets the nod. The selection has the benefit of a recent run under her belt having finished second to Lady With The Lamp (winner again since) in a listed race at Cork last month. Chantez is third choice.
