Rainbows Edge²⁶⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-12| J: W Buick| T: J & T Gosden| OR: 99| D

10/3

Night of Thunder filly who made it 2-2 over 1m in Newmarket novice in June. Good second in listed race at Salisbury (9.9f, good to firm) final start and remains with potential as a 3-y-o.

Arisaig⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-7| J: Callum Shepherd| T: C Johnston| OR: 94| D

15/8

Useful filly who won a couple of handicaps last season and shaped a lot better than the bare result on second start back when fifth in listed event at Goodwood last week, no room to open up in the finish. Potentially on a good mark back in a handicap.

Form: 1865-55

Finsceal Luas¹⁸⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 8-9| J: David Probert| T: Eve Johnson Houghton| OR: 82

14/1

Fairly useful filly. Landed the odds in 7-runner maiden at Leopardstown (9f, heavy) in October but well held in listed race at the Curragh final start. Has left J. S. Bolger. Opening mark looks high enough.

Form: 202210-

Roarin' Success²⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 8-8| J: T E Whelan| T: Harry Charlton| OR: 81| CD

10/1

Winless since taking a C&D handicap on return almost 2 years ago, though was runner-up 3 times last season. Has a good record fresh so last month's comeback at Newbury was a disappointment.

Form: 02639-0

Zapphire²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 8-7| J: Hollie Doyle| T: Miss J A Camacho| OR: 80| BF| D

9/4

Reliable sort who probably needed the run after 6 months off at Musselburgh 3 weeks ago. Better expected now and should be thereabouts with Hollie Doyle taking over.

Form: 21034-3

(3)

Bellarchi¹¹

Age: 4| Weight: 8-7| J: Mason Paetel⁽⁷⁾| T: Grant Tuer| OR: 80| CD

14/1

Won at Southwell in March on return. Unable to build on that next 2 starts, though wasn't seen to best effect at Nottingham last time. Won this race last year off 7 lb higher so must be respected.

Form: 977-183

Forecasts

Arisaig (15/8), Zapphire (9/4), Rainbows Edge (10/3), Roarin' Success (10/1), Finsceal Luas (14/1), Bellarchi (14/1)

ARISAIG was unlucky not to have made a bigger impact in a listed event at Goodwood last week so she could be on a good mark back in a handicap. Rainbows Edge is potentially a smart filly in the making so she has to be feared, along with last year's winner Bellarchi.
