€72,000 Doctor Dino gelding out of a 2m-2½m hurdle/chase winner, closely related to smart hurdler/winning chaser Mossley. Shaped well when fourth in a 7-runner Huntingdon bumper (15.8f, good) on debut last month and he's of interest now switched to hurdles.

Eight-time winner at a lowly level on the Flat (all on AW) but well held sole hurdles start at Windsor in December and, though surely capable of better in this sphere, others make more appeal on this occasion.

Promise on debut for Shark Hanlon in July 2023 but well held in a couple of bumpers for different yards and major improvement needed now sent hurdling.

Stepped up on debut fifth at Chepstow in October when runner-up in a 16.5f Taunton bumper (good) back from a break in March. Yard among the winners of late and he's of interest starting out over hurdles here.

10/3
Fairly useful 4-time winner on the Flat at up 1½m for Andrew Oliver in Ireland. Those victories were all gained on the AW but he possesses some decent turf form, too, and he will be a danger to all if taking to hurdles at the first attempt.

Off the mark in points at third attempt in December but both efforts in this sphere to date have been poor. Yard saddles a more appealing candidate in Plus Point.

Modest maiden on the Flat (stays 16.5f) and likely to come up short on this hurdles debut.

Fairly useful handicapper on Flat for Harry Eustace (stays 2m), successful once in 2024. Held back by jumping when fifth of 8 on hurdles debut a month ago but she may take a significant step forward this time.

Hooded for this much-belated debut and she's probably best watched, unless the betting suggests otherwise.

No show in a couple of points and safely held on Rules debut in a Newton Abbot maiden hurdle.

Fair maiden on the Flat (stays 1¼m) for David Menuisier. Beaten a fair way out on hurdles introduction at Hereford but since undergone wind surgery and she should leave that form well behind in time.

Forecasts

Soul Limbo (6/4), Squire Danagher (10/3), Fresh As A Daisy (9/2), Havefunontherun (5/1), Plus Point (6/1), Money To Burn (11/1), High Court Judge (12/1), Nini Star (33/1), Taymount (50/1), Spartan Times (50/1), Santa Sabina (100/1), Sea Thrift (125/1)

Verdict

SQUIRE DANAGHER and Plus Point were of a similar level of ability on the Flat and they could be the pair to concentrate on. The latter has the benefit of experience in this sphere and is greatly respected but Squire Danagher was on an upward curve during the autumn and, provided his jumping passes the test, he could be the answer. Havefunontherun, Soul Limbo and Fresh As A Daisy have all shown ability in bumpers and are likely to make their presence felt.
