Three-time winner for Olly Murphy in 2023 and, though safely held on debut for this yard on return in October, he has subsequently performed with credit in a trio of handicaps, including when fifth in a big-field at Cheltenham (16.8f, good) last month. Possibilities here off 1 lb lower.

Won handicaps at Fontwell and Lingfield towards end of 2024 and wasn't disgraced when fifth of 15 in his hat-trick bid at Wincanton in January. However, his form has dipped the last twice and he may be a shade too high in the weights for now.

Off the mark at Catterick in February and backed that up with solid third at Huntingdon 10 days later. May have been ridden too aggressively when last of 5 at Southwell in March but there were no such excuses at Carlisle recently and he now has a bit to prove.

Won 3 times over hurdles for Charlie Longsdon in 2023 but largely disappointing for present yard, including when last in a 3-runner handicap chase at Hereford last time. On the upside, his mark has plummeted and the booking of Harry Cobden is a plus now returned to the smaller obstacles.

Fairly useful Flat/hurdles winner who ended time with Alan King on a downer and made a similarly low-key start for this yard at Exeter in March. However, he returned to form with headgear omitted when runner-up at Exeter (21.6f, good) 11 days later and he will be a threat if building on that here.

Modest form in couple of bumpers but encouraging start switched to this sphere when second of 10 in a Fontwell maiden (19f, good) in March. Didn't break sweat when landing the odds over the same C&D next time and further progress likely now that he ventures down the handicap route.

Progressive stayer on Flat for Ralph Beckett in 2023 and overcame long absence when scoring on hurdles/yard debut at Doncaster in November. Not in same form next 2 starts but back on track in first-time cheekpieces when third in a 9-runner Warwick handicap (19f, good) last time. One to consider.

Bounced back to his best when scoring at Hereford in November. Followed that with a near-miss at Wetherby on Boxing Day but form has nosedived both starts since the turn of the year and others make more appeal.

Another to have thrived following a switch to this yard, making it 3 wins from 5 starts over hurdles/fences for James Owen when scoring in this sphere at Stratford (18.7f, good) last month. This 8 lb higher mark demands more but stepping back up in trip here will help and he's clearly in good nick.

Got off the mark on return from 5 months off in a Uttoxeter novice (15.8f, good to soft) in October. Found things tougher under a penalty at Chepstow next time, though, and well held both subsequent starts in handicaps.

Progressive since joining this yard last summer, notching third success in a 25f Plumpton handicap hurdle in November. Good run of form came to a grinding halt when tried in blinkers (discarded here) when pulled up at Fakenham on New Year's Day and absent since. Cheekpieces refitted.

Fairly useful bumper winner who has got his hurdling career on track following wind surgery, capitalising on the ease in class when off the mark in 8-runner maiden at Market Rasen (20.6f, good) in March. More needed now handicapping but he's lightly-raced and in good hands.

Surprise winner (sent off at 40/1) over this C&D last summer but he hasn't featured in 4 subsequent starts.

Winless since taking a Stratford novice back in October 2022 but he continues to slip down the weights and put in a good shift when fourth of 10 back from a break at Ffos Las (2½m, good to soft) last month. One for the shortlist.

He's more exposed than several of these but MASTER DANCER shaped well on his second start following a wind op when fourth at Ffos Las and he is appealing here off a career-low mark. Campaign Trail took a step firmly back in the right direction when third at Warwick and he is feared most ahead of the progressive Jackpot Cash and unexposed handicap debutant Twist of Fatecatch. Joint top-weight Liverpool Knight could also have a part to play.
