Monsieur Beaulieu³³

Age: 7| Weight: 9-9| J: Jim Crowley| T: N P Littmoden| OR: 82| D

85/40

Latest win at Lingfield in January. Underlined his consistency when 16/1, creditable fourth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 33 days ago. Little room for error off this mark but should give another good account.

Baba Reza²⁷⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 9-5| J: Tom Marquand| T: Miss J A Camacho| OR: 78| BF| CD

16/5

Returned from a lengthy absence/wind op with an impressive victory at Haydock (6f) in July last year. Not ideally placed when well held back at that venue the following month and he's not one to discount if the market suggests he's ready to roll after a further 9 months off.

Fiscal Policy¹³¹

Age: 6| Weight: 9-4| J: Lewis Edmunds| T: Mrs R Carr| OR: 77| C| D

11/2

Course winner. Seven wins from 26 Flat runs. Four wins from 10 runs last year. Sixth of 8 in handicap (7/1) at Newcastle (6f), doing too much too soon. Off 131 days but has gone well fresh. Respected.

Forecasts

Monsieur Beaulieu (85/40), Baba Reza (16/5), Bishop's Crown (4/1), Fiscal Policy (11/2), Rebel Path (8/1), Diomed Spirit (11/1)

BISHOP'S CROWN failed to justify market support on his return from 6 months off at Kempton, but back down to his last winning mark with cheekpieces refitted, he may be able to get the job done this time. Next best is Baba Reza who made a winning reappearance last season, with Tom Marquand an eye-catching jockey booking, while Fiscal Policy is another who goes well fresh.
