Progressed again when winning a Pontefract novice on third start. Excuses both subsequent outings, poorly drawn when well held in listed Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar (6f, good to soft, 50/1) in October. Interesting now handicapping having been gelded/had wind op.

Winner of a Catterick maiden last summer, but failed to repeat that effort when well-beaten twelfth of 17 in nursery at York (7f, good to firm, 11/1) when last seen in August. Hood reached for on return from 8 months off.

Successful in a Chelmsford novice and nursery at Newmarket last year. After 6 months off, shaped as if better for the run when fifth of 9 in handicap at Newbury (7f, good, 9/1) 13 days ago (reported to have had irregular heartbeat). Merits consideration.

Not straightforward, but made the frame in 4 of 5 starts last year and second of 9 in maiden (2/1) at Southwell (7.1f) on return 36 days ago. Task is now to build on that.
