Built on Cheltenham bumper debut promise when third at Market Rasen first time up over hurdles but failed by a long chalk to repeat that on both subsequent outings. This switch to a handicap may well see him in a better light after a 3-month break and the equipment is left off (had wind op).

Dual winner of 1½m AW handicaps on the Flat for Charlie Fellowes last winter but little show on first 3 hurdle runs for new stable in recent months. However, he made more impact than previously starting out in handicaps when sixth of 9 at Wincanton (19.8f, good) last month and may build on that.

Heading up the dangers is Mr Zee, who made it thirteenth time lucky in this sphere at Taunton 4 weeks ago, with Zarhanya rounding off the shortlist.
