15/8
Fair winning hurdler who opened her chasing account back from 3 months off in 4-runner handicap at Wincanton (25f, good) last month. Odds-on and didn't break sweat when following up at Warwick last week and bold show likely in her bid for the hat-trick under a penalty here.

Steadily progressive over hurdles for Chris Gordon last season. Yet to match that form in this sphere but he was a clear second over an inadequate trip at Exeter (19.2f, good) last month and he's a serious player back up in trip here with first-time blinkers and tongue strap enlisted.

Fairly useful hurdles winner but has failed to make an impact in 2 starts since switched to fences and now finds himself with a fair bit to prove.

Snapped a long losing run (and belatedly opened account in this sphere) when landing a 4-runner handicap chase at Fakenham (29f, good) in February. 3 lb rise certainly not the end of the world but he's not the most reliable.

Forecasts

Sea Invasion (6/5), Lady Jago (15/8), Lyrical Genius (6/1), Onethreefivenotout (13/2)

Verdict

SEA INVASION has slipped to an attractive mark and is a tempting alternative to the hat-trick seeking Lady Jago. Anthony Honeyball's representative posted his best effort yet in this sphere when runner-up over a trip short of his best at Exeter and this test will be more suitable. Lady Jago is greatly respected but this is tougher than the races she has recently netted at Wincanton and Warwick, while Lyrical Genius is not one to rely on and Onethreefivenotout has plenty to prove at present.
