Useful winning hurdler/chaser at his best but offered nothing on both starts after returning from a lengthy absence at Newbury in February. Cheekpieces reapplied to try spark a revival.
Course winner in 2022 who ran as well as he has when going down narrowly in 5-runner event over C&D (good) just over 2 weeks ago. Nudged back up 1 lb and every chance he will be in the mix again.
Third in 2 bumpers last spring. Also showed promise when reaching the frame in his first 2 hurdles but pulled up both starts this year, failing to handle the track on a first run right-handed over hurdles at Sandown (19.8f, good to soft) just over 6 weeks ago. Should do better this way around.
Point winner and fair winning hurdler who matched that level on chase debut when runner-up in handicap at Southwell in December. Not in the same form on next 2 starts but ran well back hurdling when runner-up at Uttoxeter (23.3f, good to soft) just over 3 weeks ago. Can build on that.
Defied a near 2-year absence when scoring at Killarney last July but has struggled since, last seen pulling up at Gowran (24.3f, heavy) in January. Engaged 5:15 here Sunday.
Has taken his form up a notch since the turn of the year, opening his account at Newcastle in January before doubling his tally in first-time cheekpieces in 10-runner handicap at Bangor (19.6f, good) 9 days ago. Likely to stay this far and could prove a tough nut to crack from 7 lb higher.
On the up since sent handicapping and got off the mark over C&D last month. Didn't need to improve any further to follow up at Wincanton (24.7f, good) 3 weeks ago and she remains unexposed as a stayer. Solid each-way player.
Bumper/hurdle winner here who showed more than on chase debut when third of 4 in novices' handicap at Newbury (19.8f) in February. Quickly reverts to hurdles and a return to this venue could well see him in an even better light. Tongue tie applied.

Forecasts
Gwennie May Star (5/2), All Authorized (10/3), Kaituna River (6/1), Warranty (6/1), Kells Priory (6/1), La Dolce Dolly (7/1), Copshill Lad (7/1), Press Your Luck (20/1), Ken Roy (33/1)
GWENNIE MAY STAR took his form up a notch when scoring in first-time cheekpieces at Bangor 9 days ago and, with this step up in distance holding no fears, Dan Skelton's charge can make it 3 wins from his last 4 outings. Heading up the dangers is Warranty, who went down narrowly over C&D earlier in the month, while All Authorized and La Dolce Dolly can fight out third.
