Begin The Luck²⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 11-11| J: Robbie David⁽⁷⁾| T: Daisy Hitchins| OR: 96| CD

11/4

Deservedly got his head back in front when capitalising on a lower hurdles mark at Stratford (18.7f, heavy) in October. Largely creditable efforts in defeat since, though turned in a rare poor effort back from a break last month.

Form: 134330

Lady Pretender^t1⁵³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 93

9/1

Fairly useful hurdler/chaser in France who posted best efforts for current yard when placed in handicap chases at Wincanton and Leicester in December. However, lacklustre efforts both starts since so questions to answer now. Tongue strap back on

Form: 7-P3253

Tribesmans Glory³⁴

Age: 11| Weight: 10-11| J: Ben Ffrench-Davis⁽⁵⁾| T: C J Down| OR: 82

9/2

Ended losing run with a narrow success over fences at Warwick (20f) in May. Mixed record since but looked back in top form when third at Chepstow last month so needs considering off 1 lb lower.

8/1

Modest winning hurdler whose record over fences this season has been patchy, running poorly last 2 starts. Others more solid.

Forecasts

Begin The Luck (11/4), Pooroldmackley (4/1), Time To Bite (4/1), Tribesmans Glory (9/2), Kadex (5/1), Universal Secret (8/1), Lady Pretender (9/1), Poet's Reflection (10/1), Master Mikey Dee (16/1)

TRIBESMANS GLORY looked back in top form when third at Chepstow so gets the vote off a workable mark. The thriving Time To Bite looks the obvious threat, while Kadex was in the process of running his best race for a while before falling 2 out at Plumpton last time.
