Caught the eye both beforehand and during the race itself as she made a winning start at Newbury in December, showing a great attitude for a newcomer. Found step up to listed company too much at Market Rasen a month later but she demands consideration back at this level.

Linda's Lad gelding. Half-brother to French hurdler Johnnysaid and fair chaser Safe Destination. Dam winning pointer/placed over hurdles. Newcomer for excellent yard so has to be of serious interest.
€42,000 3-y-o, fifth foal, half-brother to French 1½m bumper winner Hermine des Obeaux. Dam, maiden over hurdles/fences in France, sister to French hurdler/chaser (2m-2¾m winner) Verdure des Obeaux.
Manduro gelding. Brother to 1m winner abroad Royal Fox and closely related to 6f winner in France Picador. Dam winner around 1m in Germany. Displayed ability amidst inexperience when sixth at Wincanton 3 weeks ago.
Galileo gelding. Dam, smart 1m (2-y-o)-1¼m winner who stayed 1½m, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Enthused. Has had a breathing op ahead of debut.
Easy to back and well held on debut at Hereford in December but did show a bit more over this C&D in February.
£25,000 Sea Moon gelding. Half-brother to numerous winners on Flat, including useful 1¼m winner abroad Memphis. Dam German 1¼m/11f winner. Promising start amidst greenness when fifth of 11 in a valuable bumper at Newbury a month ago. Can build on that.
Ulysses filly. Closely related to fairly useful hurdler/chase winner Gyenyame and half-sister to 2 winners on Flat. Dam 2-y-o 1m winner who stayed 10.5f. Excellent start when runner-up in a C&D bumper a month ago. Sure to go well.

Forecasts
Wondering Why (5/2), Johnny Hooves (7/2), Amber Waves (9/2), Urban Isle (7/1), Saint Terry (17/2), Chatty Girl (9/1), Laurier Des Obeaux (10/1), Pic N Mix (20/1), Royal Mark (28/1)
WONDERING WHY showed plenty to work on amidst inexperience when fifth in what is traditionally a pretty strong bumper at Newbury a month ago. Expected to build on that, he receives the vote in favour of Amber Waves and Chatty Girl, while Johnny Hooves is a likely-looking newcomer.
