Off time: 14:40 | Winning time: 5m 57.20s

Thank You Ma'am^p⁴⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: Miss Olive Nicholls⁽⁷⁾| T: G Nicholls| OR: 127| D

5/1

Likeable front-runner who deservedly got off the mark in 3m Ascot handicap (good to soft) in December and added to his tally in a novice at Doncaster (good) last month. Should go well again.

Form: 222131

An Tailliur^t⁷⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 11-12| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 125| CD

6/1

Capped an excellent 2021/22 season with a win in this race. Hasn't looked the force of old back from an absence this winter but his handicap mark reflects that and it's possible this has been the plan.

Form: 256797

Tiny Tetley¹⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Callum Pritchard⁽⁵⁾| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 124| D

4/1

On a hat-trick after small-field wins at Exeter and Taunton this spring. It was a very uncompetitive race last time and he's another 6 lb higher now but he's clearly in great form.

Form: 214811

Burrows Hall³⁶

Age: 8| Weight: 11-4| J: Danny McMenamin| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 117| D

5/1

Is thriving, completing a front-running hat-trick (all under Danny McMenamin) when seeing off 5 rivals at Doncaster (3m, good) 5 weeks ago. Another 5 lb higher now.

Form: 346111

Land Genie⁸⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 116| BF

4/1

Improved for new trainer Dan Skelton after win surgery, winning at Warwick (3¼m, soft) on New Year's Eve. Creditable fourth of 11 at the same course (25f, good to soft) in January and kept fresh for this since by his title-chasing trainer.

Form: 6-3P214

High Game Royal²⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-3| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 116

7/1

Fairly useful hurdler who put in good shifts when going close in 23f handicaps at Exeter and Lingfield on first 2 starts of this season. Form dipped on next 2 outings back but on form when second of 5 at Bangor (23f, good) last month. Yard also runs Tiny Tetley.

Form: 5-22542

Bold Recruit³⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: James Bowen| T: Billy Aprahamian| OR: 113| D

15/2

Gained a deserved breakthrough win in 7-runner novice hurdle at Ludlow (3m, good to soft) in February. Creditable 7½ lengths third of 6 to Burrows Hall in handicap at Doncaster (3m, good) since and would have been a bit closer but for a mistake 2 out.

Form: 222313

Forecasts

Tiny Tetley (4/1), Land Genie (4/1), Thank You Ma'am (5/1), Burrows Hall (5/1), An Tailliur (6/1), High Game Royal (7/1), Bold Recruit (15/2)

There's a lot to like about the way THANK YOU MA'AM goes about things and he's taken to defy top weight. Dan Skelton might have lined up Land Genie for this and he's feared most ahead of the hat-trick seeking Tiny Tetley.
