Ex-Gordon Elliott mare who has performed respectably in a couple of Musselburgh handicap hurdles prior to finishing runner-up to a less exposed type in a C&D maiden last month. Has a bit to find on return to a handicap.
Fairly useful handicap hurdler at best but was out of sorts on final starts for previous connections and fared little better on Flat debut for this yard at Pontefract 11 days ago. Questions to answer back over hurdles.
Confirmed glimpses of promise shown in maidens when off the mark on handicap debut at Market Rasen (20.6f) last month, winning with a bit in hand. Could be more improvement to come.
Opened his account at Hexham in May but below form in the autumn. Confirmed himself in good heart when shaping encouragingly (after 5 months off) when fourth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Newcastle (16.9f) 19 days ago, staying on well. Back up in trip and makes appeal off his latest winning mark.
Brought along steadily in novice company but given a stiff opening mark and made little impact on handicap debut at Newcastle (20.3f) 2 weeks ago. Improvement needed.
Fair hurdler/chaser who ran his best race for current connections when third in a hunter chase at Carlisle (20.9f). Followed that up later last month with a respectable third back over hurdles at Newcastle (16.9f). Longer trip may be in his favour. Not ruled out now 2 lb below his last winning mark.
Winless for over 2 years but shaped better when finding only one too good at Musselburgh (19.8f, good to soft) on penultimate outing. Didn't see out his race having set a sound pace over a stiff track last time. No surprise to see him bounce back in first-time cheekpieces
Ran creditably down in class when fourth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Wetherby (24.1f, good) last month and now finds himself back down to his last successful mark. Remains to be seen whether he can capitalise on it back up in grade.

George Darling (11/8), Jumping Jupiter (7/2), Rioja Alta (4/1), Socks Off (11/2), Rickety Gate (6/1), See A Stride (8/1), City Derby (10/1), Big Storm Brewing (16/1), Coral Blue (18/1), Sonning (40/1)
JUMPING JUPITER caught the eye doing some good late work on reappearance 19 days ago and makes plenty of appeal stepped up in trip off his last winning mark. Successful on handicap debut, there may well be further progress to come from the lightly-raced George Darling, while Rioja Alta arrives in good heart and should not be underestimated.
