Well backed when not seen to best effect over 25f at Plumpton in February and back in distance, he made no mistake in 7-runner contest back there a month ago, staying on well. Up 6 lb but hard to rule out a bold follow-up bid.
Third hurdles success of his light career when returning from 6 months off to see off 16 rivals in a 2m handicap (heavy) here in November 2023. Lightly raced and limited impact since, albeit Exeter return 12 days ago back from 10 months off was a bit more like it. Back up in trip.
Confirmed promise of previous run when landing a novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.8f) in the summer and better form in defeat in handicaps thereafter, particularly when runner-up at Hereford (21.7f) in October. In the process of running well when falling 2 out at Taunton in December.
Progressive stayer on Flat for Ralph Beckett in 2023. Overcame long absence to make a winning hurdling/yard debut at Doncaster in November. Not in the same form both starts since, latterly on handicap debut, but he looks interesting up in trip with cheekpieces added.
Pulled up on final start for Dan Skelton in May 2022. Successful twice at Auteuil for Sophie Leech since but after showing little twice for Jennie Candlish, he was pulled up back with previous yard at Uttoxeter.
Ended time with Padraig Roche in Ireland out of sorts and fared no better for current connections (has undergone breathing surgery). Back in trip with lots to prove in re-fitted tongue tie.
Much improved when getting off the mark in 16-runner handicap hurdle at Taunton (19f, good to soft) in February 2024 and continued the excellent work with another easy success at Huntingdon in May. Off since but is in excellent hands and 6 lb rise perfectly fair.
Bought for €140,000 after winning sole outing in Irish points and looked very professional when making a winning hurdle debut in 11-runner novice at Newcastle (17f) in January, jumping accurately. Probably didn't beat a lot and she failed to land the odds at Doncaster. Handicap debut for top yard.
Successful in Britain and Ireland last spring and took a step back in the right direction from his reduced mark when fifth at Limerick a fortnight ago. Dangerous if building on that.

Queens Wish (3/1), Lumi Plugin (7/2), Baskerville (7/2), Mammies Boy (9/2), Tarahumara (10/1), Seasett (11/1), Campaign Trail (12/1), Lucky One (25/1), Slip Of The Tongue (150/1)
It may pay to chance CAMPAIGN TRAIL, who has been given a break after an underwhelming handicap debut and now has cheekpieces fitted tackling a trip that is expected to suit. Mammies Boy, Seasett and Queens Wish all have something to recommend them so they head the opposition.
