Won here on second of 3 runs last summer. 28/1 and hooded for 1st time, well held on first outing since leaving George Boughey after 9 months off in 14-runner handicap at Kempton (11f) 16 days ago. Needs to leave that effort well behind.
Prolific last year notching 5 wins, latest at Kempton in October. Stayed on gradually after missing break when seventh of 14 in handicap (9/2) at Kempton (11f) 5 months ago and enters calculations provided he's ready to roll on reappearance.
Wide-margin winner of a Windsor maiden on third start and backed up that effort when third of 8 in handicap at Yarmouth (10.1f, good, 11/4) in August. Shaped better than the bare result after 7 months off when sixth at Kempton recently (badly hampered over 2f out) and he remains unexposed.
Ended 2024 with a pair of AW wins at Wolverhampton. Mostly respectable efforts in defeat on AW this year and wasn't disgraced in a change of headgear back on turf at Doncaster recently.
Won competitive handicaps at both the Dante/Ebor Festival at York in 2023. Best effort last year when fourth of 11 in handicap at Ayr (10f, good to firm) in September but not so good on all-weather debut at Newcastle the following month and not seen since.
Promise in 3 runs for Aidan O'Brien, stylish maiden winner on sole 2-y-o start and finished a creditable fourth in valuable Gowran race on the second of his two starts last term. Gelded since and cheekpieces on for handicap/yard debut at Doncaster recently but unable to get competitive.
12/1, wasn't totally straightforward off the bridle but on the whole gave a very good account returning from 6 months off from a career-high mark when third of 16 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f, good) just over 2 weeks ago. One to consider with that under his belt.
C&D winner. Ran well to be placed again when third of 9 in handicap hurdle (13/2) at Sedgefield (16.8f, soft) 4 months ago. Fairly useful on the Flat, respectable fourth at Redcar in November on last outing. Goes well fresh so worth a second look.
Enjoyed a productive campaign last season but possibly found it one run too many when thirteenth of 14 in handicap (16/1) at York (10.2f, heavy) 6 months ago. Betting should be a decent guide to expectations on reappearance.

Forecasts
Qitaal (3/1), Calumet (4/1), King's Code (11/2), Forceful Speed (13/2), Ocean Of Dreams (17/2), Lightening Company (9/1), Siempre Arturo (10/1), Marhaba The Champ (12/1), Glistening Nights (22/1)
Cases can be made for several of these, but the suggestion is CALUMET, who was one of the worst sufferers in the interference early in the straight at Kempton on reappearance just over 2 weeks ago and Marco Botti's 4-y-o remains unexposed. Qitaal ran a cracker without looking totally straightforward off the bridle at Doncaster recently, so he heads up the dangers, with Lightening Company and Siempre Arturo taken to fight out third.
