Age: 10| Weight: 11-8| J: Stan Sheppard| T: M Sheppard| OR: 91

Completed a chase hat-trick early last season but signs of decline this term, though more of an impact from much reduced mark when third at Chepstow last month.

Form: 6PP473

Getthepot^p,t⁵³

Age: 10| Weight: 11-6| J: Kielan Woods| T: D Killahena & G McPherson| OR: 89

2/1

Ended a losing run from much-reduced mark at Worcester in September but he's very hard to catch right and he wasn't in anything like the same form at Uttoxeter a month later. Good second after a break (had wind surgery) at Doncaster 8 weeks ago but needs to back that up.

Form: 889102

Martalmix'jac^p,t⁶⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽³⁾| T: Mrs M Rowley| OR: 85| C

3/1

Left reappearance effort behind when runner-up at Ludlow (20f, soft) in December and ran well to fill that same position back up in trip at Southwell 9 weeks ago, left behind by winner approaching last but rallying well run-in. Same mark to work with and can get involved again.

Form: 21P-P22

Raindance Queen³²

Age: 8| Weight: 10-2| J: James Best| T: W De Best-Turner| OR: 69

14/1

Placed both starts between the flags early in 2022 but has shown little under Rules. Hard to make a case for.

Forecasts

Groom De Cotte (7/4), Getthepot (2/1), Martalmix'jac (3/1), Pottlerath (4/1), Samourai One (4/1), Raindance Queen (14/1), Grillon De Monty (18/1)

The thriving GROOM DE COTTE looks the most solid option with this trip likely to be within range. Martialmix'jac looks worth a try at this distance given how he shaped when a close second at Southwell last time, while Samourai One and Getthepot are also capable.
