Age: 9| Weight: 12-0| J: Daire James McConville⁽⁷⁾| T: M Keighley| OR: 100

17/2

Sixteen runs since last win in 2021 but not disgraced in first-time cheekpieces (left off here) when third in 5-runner handicap at Haydock (21.2f, good to firm) 23 days ago. Step back up in trip should suit and merits consideration.

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr Sean P O'Connor⁽⁷⁾| T: L Horsfall| OR: 98| C

3/1

Remains with just the 1 win over hurdles (which came at this venue) but is proving consistent, finishing a creditable third of 6 at Wincanton (21.4f) on most recent outing, and seems sure to be on the premises again if seeing out the longer trip.

The Wise Traveller⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-7| J: Jamie Gambin⁽¹⁰⁾| T: Mrs S J Humphrey| OR: 93| CD

9/2

C&D winner. Failed to come on for recent run when only fourth of 5 at Sedgefield (27f) last week but is too well handicapped to ignore and boasts an excellent course record.

Montana Golden⁷⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: James Bowen| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 86

7/4

Promising start to his career when second in a Worcester bumper last summer. Hasn't come close to matching that level in 4 starts over hurdles but wasn't seen to best effect (short of room after 4 out) on handicap debut at Wetherby on most recent outing and is worth another chance up in trip.

Form: 25P680

Wearapinkribbon^p¹⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 10-4| J: Liam Harrison| T: M Comley| OR: 76| CD

9/2

Ended a losing run of more than 4 years when striking over C&D on yard debut in March. However, ran no sort of race at Exeter 3 weeks later. Cheekpieces back on.

Forecasts

Montana Golden (7/4), Jack The Savage (3/1), Good Bye (4/1), The Wise Traveller (9/2), Wearapinkribbon (9/2), Kazontherazz (17/2)

THE WISE TRAVELLER failed to come on for his recent run when beating only one home in a small-field handicap at Sedgefield last week, but he's too well handicapped to ignore and a return to his favoured track could see him revive. Jack The Savage is proving consistent and seems sure to on the premises once more if seeing out the longer trip, with Kazontherazz also feared.
