Showed promise when fourth of 6 on his Ascot debut in November but well held at Chepstow 4 months later, going in snatches. Hard to be confident after that but this is a weak bumper.

Labouring a long way out on his Huntingdon debut last month but his stable has done well in bumpers this season and no surprise were he to take a step forward now.

Forecasts

Big Boy Barney (4/5), Calvino (5/6), Lootenay (7/2), Daring To Dream (6/1), She's Our Last (10/1), Ivegotattitude (20/1), Play Nice (20/1), Ilostasock (33/1), Olivia's Secret (66/1)

This looks a good chance for BIG BOY BARNEY to build on a promising run at Warwick last month. Calvino disappointed back from a break at Chepstow but hails from a top yard and might still be the one to give Fergal O'Brien's charge most to do.
