Eric Turner Memorial Race Novices' Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Won 2 handicap hurdles for Donald McCain last May. Left that yard after an early fall at Bangor in June but showed he retains plenty of ability for his new yard when landing a 2m Catterick claimer last month. Switches to fences for the first time now.

Has advanced his form switched to fences this term, making all over 2m at Warwick, Hereford and Wincanton. Might have found the run coming too soon after only 9 days off when a well-held third at Kempton last month. Capable of bouncing straight back.

Opened chase account on third start for current yard at Catterick in December and went in again at Huntingdon in January. Three lesser runs have followed, though, and remains 3 lb above the mark he defied at Huntingdon.

Course bumper winner who has failed to win over hurdles but has finished runner-up 6 times. Unseated around halfway on her previous chase start. Capable off this mark if avoiding mishap this time.

Improved over hurdles lately, winning handicaps at Plumpton (soft) in January and over C&D (good to soft) last month. Should play a prominent role if taking to chasing at the first time of asking.
