8/1

Alioski^t⁵²

13/2

Had wind op and ran up to best in this sphere when second of 8 in handicap at Southwell (12.1f, 10/1) 52 days ago. Every chance if able to build on that here.

Form: 06371-2

(9)

Tarjamah⁵²

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: Jonny Peate| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 53| C

40/1

Course winner. Eleven runs since last win in 2022. Well held on first outing since leaving Tracy Waggott after 7 months off in 9-runner handicap (50/1) at Southwell (12.1f) 52 days ago. Not easy to make a case for.

Form: 09780-7

(4)

Zooks^p²⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 9-6| J: Billy Loughnane| T: Ian Williams| OR: 52

5/2

Winner at Chelmsford in February. 9/2, ran to a similar level when fourth of 10 in handicap at this C&D 24 days ago. Expected to be bang there.

25/1

Form: 168-598

Forecasts

Fine Print (5/2), Zooks (5/2), Two Plus Two (4/1), Alioski (13/2), Bella Bluesky (8/1), Black Smoke (18/1), Courageous Gold (20/1), Ocean Ridge (25/1), Tarjamah (40/1)

A tricky finale to solve but the suggestion is ZOOKS, who arrives in top order and Ian Williams' 5-y-o mare can make it 2 wins from her last 3 outings. Heading up the opposition is Two Plus Two, who again encountered a tough trip but wasted no time getting back to form when runner-up here 4 days ago. Alioski and the unexposed Courageous Gold can do battle for third place.
