DESERT CHAMPION had any amount in hand when scoring in a first-time visor at Chelmsford 4 weeks ago and. provided the headgear works just as well a second time, James Tate's colt can defy a hefty 10 lb rise in the weights at the expense of Megaphone, who is 2-2 for George Boughey and is open to further improvement. Ay Gee Ell looks best of the rest.
