Well beaten in bumpers and again showed nothing switched to hurdling at Carlisle recently.

Form: 00-P

He's Bresilian³¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: C O'Farrell| T: Jedd O'Keeffe| OR: 114

7/2

Failed to complete in 2 points but has shaped with more encouragement in a couple of bumpers and showed even better form when third of 10 on January's Wetherby hurdling debut. Held back by a significant late mistake at Newcastle since and remains open to improvement.

Form: FP-4533

Just Oot³⁶²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Nathan Moscrop| T: S Corbett

80/1

Down the field in 2 bumpers.

Form: 50-

Kelvin Forlonge⁷⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: P W Wadge| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell

12/1

Just minor promise in a pair of bumpers.

Form: 35

Kingston Rock^p,t¹²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Edward Austin⁽⁵⁾| T: Gary Rutherford| OR: 82

20/1

Modest maiden hurdler. Ran well in first-time cheekpieces when third in 7-runner maiden over C&D 12 days ago, but this is a far stronger race.

Form: P-65583

Road To Home³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: Mr P W Mullins| T: W P Mullins

2/9

Successful on sole outing in bumpers for Eugene M. O'Sullivan and shaped promisingly second time up over hurdles when third in big-field maiden at Naas (15.5f) the previous month, despite looking unsuited by the drop in trip. This stiffer track will suit, and he has excellent claims.

Form: FP-1R3

Woody's Boy¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: M Walford

200/1

Tailed off on completed start in maiden hurdles.

Form: 8P

Annies Gold²¹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Tom Midgley⁽³⁾| T: N Kent

200/1

Showed little in bumpers and did likewise sent hurdling at Market Rasen 3 weeks ago.

Form: 8-706

Roxby Belle¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-2| J: Danny McMenamin| T: M Walford

125/1

£48,000 purchase who is the first foal of a fairly useful 2½m hurdle winner but could hardly of shown any less starting out in a novice hurdle at Ayr recently.

Forecasts

Road To Home (2/9), He's Bresilian (7/2), Kelvin Forlonge (12/1), Kingston Rock (20/1), Rogue Sea (25/1), Just Oot (80/1), Do Ye Wanna (125/1), Roxby Belle (125/1), Annies Gold (200/1), Woody's Boy (200/1)

It's hard to see this developing into anything other than a match between ROAD TO HOME and He's Bresilian. The former should be suited by the stiffer nature of this track having looked unsuited by the drop in trip when shaping promisingly on his second hurdling start at Naas the previous month, so he edges the vote.
